ENERGY
Drill in America! Instead of beating up oil producers for
the high price of foreign oil, the Senate should cut their ties
to the greens and DRILL IN AMERICA. We're starving in the midst
of plenty with hundreds and even thousands of years of fossil
fuels on our own soil and our Outer Continental Shelf. Shut down
Energy Killer green groups that destroy our national security
and
obstruct our energy future. DRILL IN AMERICA!

Green disaster hitting United States hard,
Part II
One
dollar of every four in income goes to energy - and not just for the
poorest families. Blame environmentalists for creating artificial
scarcity and high energy prices with their No Drilling "energy policy"
- which is really the No-Energy Policy we suffer under.

Green disaster hitting United States hard,
Part I
The U.S. has centuries of fossil fuels beneath our own soil, but
environmental policy makes them useless. The artificial scarcity
imposed by the powerful global warming lobby has driven gas prices
beyond the reach of the working poor in an Alabama town.

Some producers fear restrictions on land access
Anti-oil and gas group Oil and Gas Accountability Project (OGAP) denies running the No Dirty Oil and Gas
campaign against America's energy producers, but its parent group,
Earthworks, owns the websites
www.nodirtyoilandgas.com
and
www.nodirtyoilandgas.org.
Hmmm. Do we need an OGAP Accountability Project?

Equality dubbing energy "the master resource" that makes legal civil
rights real civil rights. Sierra Club's plans to destroy the coal
industry are a threat to the poor and minorities and must be stopped.

MEMORABILIA
While cleaning out old files, our staff came across an
18-year-old document from a remarkable conference held in 1990 by the
Center for the Defense of Free Enterprise commemorating the Multiple
Use Sustained Yield Act of 1960 in conjunction with the Soviet Union
and the U.S. Forest Service. The conference, titled
Solving the Environmental Crisis,
brought together Soviet and American activists who bridged the
subsequent Soviet collapse and eventual cleanup efforts in the new
Russia. Critics of CDFE were strangely silent about this landmark
conference. Here is a scan of the only existing copy of the program of
Solving the Environmental Crisis from 1990. PDF file, requires Adobe
Acrobat reader.

INVESTOR'S BUSINESS DAILY
Ferenc Miskolczi, an atmospheric
physicist at NASA's Langley Research Center with three decades
of experience, found that researchers have been repeating a
mistake when calculating the impact of greenhouse gas emissions
on temperatures. Miskolczi concluded that the Earth does a good
job of adapting and self-regulating. His finding could explain
why the warming that models have been predicting for decades has
never materialized. NASA refused to publish the results.
Miskolczi quit, citing in his resignation letter a clash between
"the freedom of science" and NASA's censorship of "new climate
change related scientific results." NASA doesn't want to fund
research that refutes the Al Gore view that has eaten away
reasoned thinking and has been adopted uncritically by much of
the public, pushing us toward a fatal Energy Gap.

SALT LAKE TRIBUNE
Group: 'Extreme environmentalists' are harming
the poor and minorities In a byline article by a staff
reporter, the Salt Lake Tribune quoted Niger Innis, national spokesman
of the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE) and son of civil rights icon
Roy Innis, as charging that elitist environmentalists are harming poor
people and minority groups with their anti-energy activism. Innis held
a news conference on the last day of Utah's 2008 state legislative
session, and announced a CORE campaign to defeat environmentalists'
anti-fossil fuel campaign once and for all. He was surrounded by state
lawmakers who congratulated the CORE effort.
