Eco-Imperialism: Green Power, Black Death
Paul Driessen

Description: Paul Driessen discusses his book, "Eco-Imperialism," at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Mr. Driessen argues that many of the global policies supported by U.S. environmentalists increase the misery of poor people living in the Third World. He argues that large dam projects, genetically modified crops, and pesticides like DDT, all popular targets for U.S. environmentalists, do more to improve the lives of the poor in places like South Asia and Africa than most people realize. The talk was hosted by the Madison chapter of Collegians for a Constructive Tomorrow. Includes Q&A.

Author Bio: Paul Driessen is a senior fellow with both the Committee For a Constructive Tomorrow and the Center for the Defense of Free Enterprise. He has worked as a staffer at the U.S. Senate and the Interior Department.

Publisher: Free Enterprise Press 12500 NE Tenth Place Bellevue, Washington 98005
