Institute for Humane Studies
Environmental Seminar
Seattle University, Seattle, Washington

Paul Driessen gave three lectures to college and graduate students at this Seminar. In the second lecture, he shared stories told him by Fifi Kobusingye-Boynes of Uganda:

“My friend’s little child hasn’t been able to walk for months because of malaria,” Fifi says. “Her family doesn’t have the money to help her, and neither does the Ugandan government. All they can do is take care of her the best they can, and wait for her to die.”

Driessen speaks with students following his lecture
