RON ARNOLD provided a roadmap for success to the natural gas industry in a presentation titled, "Combating Environmental Roadblocks to Energy Development" at the GasMart 04 in Denver, Colorado on May 18 , 2004. GasMart is sponsored by Intelligence Press, Inc., a natural gas industry publishing firm based near Washington, D.C. in Virginia.

Arnold pointed to the public benefits of clean-burning natural gas but warned that environmentalists do not want cleaner energy, they want no energy development at all, believing that any development harms nature. They claim they support clean air, but they don't - they blockade every attempt to bring clean natural gas to consumers and they fight energy self-sufficiency for America by trying to stop all domestic energy development.

The energy industry needs to mobilize masses of supporters in the general public, good people who recognize the benefits of abundant clean natural gas and will fight to keep it flowing. Arnold gave a point-by-point plan to do just that.

Arnold presented a detailed program of how to build the energy industry into a mass movement by cultivating the grassroots goodwill already present in American society, and giving them the tools to mobilize against anti-industry groups that won't stop blocking energy development. He gave proven tips on negotiation, partnering, and bringing social change to anti-industry groups.

Arnold concluded with an invitation to attendees of GasMart 04 to provide materials for his next book, being kept under close wraps for its strategic value.
